Hi, I have an iphone 5s which i wasnt using due an upgrade, I used to keep the phone in my toolbox at work and charge it everyday as the battery is knackered (it was always flat when i returned)
Anyway around 3 weeks ago i put it on charge like everyday and it wont turn on.
Genuine charger cable and plug ( which both work with my new phone )
tried into a computer with itunes
tried holding the home and sleep buttons

any ideas?

Sounds like the battery has totally given up the ghost. Try fitting another battery then phone should be fine.
