this is the reason that picking a good flashcard is essential.

    i use this site alot.

it has a patching tool you can download which willl patch the games that require it.

( if you read the info on individual games , its tells you whether patching is supported)

out of interest, are you using a dslite or a dsi?
Im using a ds lite, if my card i mentioned in the above posts needs replacing for my ds lite what card is good to buy now for it?

well if you are using a dslite yoyu can get an r4 card for around 2 quid delivered..

with woods firmware , it will play almost all ds roms..

only drawback is that these cards do not support sdhc microsd cards, so the largest sd card you could use would be 2 gig..

you see the problem is , there are loads of differnt versions of your card.
oficial support has stopped for all of them now..
but for some of them there is un-official support..

problem is you need to kow exactly what card it is...

could u post a picture of it with details like what size sd card u are using?

unfortunatly there's not alot you can do with it then.

woods firmware will not work on it,
might be able to use retrogamefan firmware on it, but you would need to know who manufactured the card....

there are loads of card that will work on ds/dsi and 3ds's.

i like acekards because they are easy to use and well supported.
with an acekard you will be able to play almost all ds/dsi roms on any of the consoles. (with the exception of maybe the very latest roms, but firmware gets updated every couple of months or so, then the newer games work).

no card can run 3ds roms yet...

Oh ok thats sounds great, is there things to look out for like original and clone cards? Also where can i buy that acekard from? And does it support 4gb micro sd cards

I just came across some on the net it says they come with a anti counterfiting code, whats that?

yep, you have to be wary of clones, they are useless..

acekards come with a holographic type sticker on the back which has a number on it.

you can go onto acekard official site and check your card is legite...

also if you go on official site (acekard.com), you will find a list of trusted resellers... might be worth a look.

you can use any size of microsd card. sdhc or non-sdhc, all will work..
