DS Firmware (for R4 card & copies) HELP!!!

Think there about ?18 with a mem card, if they have em but if not they have r4i, etc.....cheap though

im thinkin of getting a dsi for the lad and acekard..
im still using a "m3 simly ds card" i have two sd cards one with old and one with new firmware.
i have been able to get every game to work on one or the other of these, but i think it'll be consigned to the bin when dsi comes along...

My card just says:

R4
Revolution for DS
(NDSL/NDS)

Does this mean I have the old crappy one? Or can I use the 1.30b found here: Digital Kaos - Downloads - R4-UPGRADE REV SDHC kemel download 1.30b

the old crappy one .

by the sounds of it you have an original,
which is the best r4 card available.

if you put the latest woods firmware on it, it will play everything...

before you start,
back up your sd card,
that way if it doesn't work you can put your card back to what you have now....

ps.
what size micro sd card you using?
original r4 cards can only use microsd cards up to 2 gig...
they do not support sdhc cards....

also,
original r4 cards only work on ds/dslites....

Oh, that's great! I thought having a old card was a bad thing but the opposite (I should've known) is better.

Accept for capacity of course. I tried an 8 gig SDHC, but no luck. The 2 gig cards work.
