problems with my r4 upgrade games engine sdhc

Hi batz did you get the r4 card working....The process is
1/ format sd card to FAT32.
2/ unrar R4i English V1.14b using winrar to desktop.
3/ open R4i English V1.14b folder and copy the 3 folders a 1 file and make a folder called games over to sd card.
4/ place game roms into games folder on sd card.
And make sure your time and date are set correctly thats it all should work...

i had the same problem with the date - I also found that the Firmware v 1.12 worked v1.25 didnt

Hi all,ive got a problem with my R4 card ive put the software on and all i get on the top screen is the,loading..... thing,goes no further.
I bought it from R4i,online ordered a black one just like my eldest son has. what i recieved was a red one,christmas edition. now if i put a memory card that my eldest has,that works a treat on his ds,in the red r4 i still get the same thing,ive tried ringing them and,as they do,they talked to me like i was 105,and just said id installed the swoftware wrong,even though i was on the phone doing it step by step with her! She said all i could do was send it back and they would install the software,but i dont think thats the problem,i mena how hard is drag n drop!!!

Any ideas before i send it back?

Not sure you have the r4 card because they are black..it looks like you have a r4i card instead witch means you have the wrong firmware..try the r4i firmware from the site instead..that should solve the problem.

If your r4 card came in a red box its definitely a r4i....

And there really is no T in chrismas LOL!!!

Ive tried every version of the firmware and get the same result everytime. Loading....... on the top screen and nothing else.

bin the r4 !!!! buy the supercard dsonei .... much better and does work with any machine .... the r4's are nothing but a headache
