Set your date back a month or so on your ds then

The date problem is with your last firmware update if the card is an a original you will need to download the latest which is V1.25b.Hope this helps

i'm having the same issues

yeah so i the same issues when i updated my kernel, and then i tried using a different micro card and still get either the red box with menu in it or fake card prompt.

both those faults mean you are using the wrong firmware

Having so much trouble with this fricking R4 Upgrade SDHC card which I bought a couple of years ago and am now trying to use again. I assume the ones purchased from r41-sdhc.com are fake? Figures

any r4 sdhc card is fake,
r4 did not make any card capable of using sdhc cards...

your card is probably a clone of dstt card...

Only worked if I set the date to 30\12\2000, small price to pay!

also my r4 ge is giving message in red "menu?" I bought 1 year ago, about 4 months ago it started to give this message.... already not solved!!!!

That's the best way...the date issue,fw issues,card issues etc etc ,.... Have been done and solved ....search the areas you want ie:ds

i contacted the web site they said it was to do with me not having the right date set on my ds
i now have it working thank you everyone for all ur help xx

seems like an odd issue. do i put the current dat or a previous date?
