How to patch ds games for save not found error.

I have the same problem, i wish i had looked into buying the r4 over the M3 Real... /facepalm

alot of the newer games that iv been gettin have been giving me problems, think the manufacturers of these games are puttin a little more security on them these days so in turn alot harder to patch, me personally i dont have a clue a rely on other people who do know these things....... so a big thank you to every1 that puts the effort in to making these games work for us!!!!!!

New to this. Got an R4i card V.4 which sid that i could use this with the original DS.

Bouught the R4i cos getting a ds lite for xmas didn't see the point in buing card now and a new one lated.

howeve i read somewhere this ard will not work with original ds.

could this be my problem?

you need to extract the files m8 a rar file is a compressed file all you need to do is get yourself a program called winrar
once you have winrar you just open the rar file with winrar choose extract files then once this is done you will now have probably about several different things like a reedme and maybe the covers but you should have the .nds file there also this is your game just drag that into your games folder on your sd card and your done

I'm about to give this a try as well. I had a card that was working fine, then after installing a game gives me this error on all games.

Can we have a comprehensive answer here please from the thread starter or other knowlegable chap or chap-ess?

The links in the first post appear dead. For me, like many others they just lead us to a blank white screen. I know what rar and zip files are and I know what to do with them so please don't assume I'm thick and don't know how to save them to desktop and unrar etc. I have tried firefox and IE, both with no joy.

If indeed the links are dead, can someone with a bit of nouse, please post where these items can be found (inc the tutorial which is a must for us noobs)

Had this problem last year with the save file issue using an N5 and discovered by accident that an Acekard 2i plays all the games that were giving me the error using the bog standard firmware in a bog standard DS Lite so I assume the firmware for the new Acekard 2i is written for the newer games in the DSi.

Hope this helps as it worked for me and an Acekard 2i is only about a tenner if u use ur old micro SD card
