UPDATE

the games that DID not work now work


I went back and moved the original download (the files I backed up before we started working on it)

I can only assume the fresh FAT32 formatting was what did it

SO

what worked for my card was this

the only difference is that at the very bottom it says -www.R4I-SDHC.com-

but nothing from that website works.

that is just an r4 card.
if that is your card then you want woods firmware
if its not then its just trial and error, that link cunny posted has them all....

Did you use the arm7 fix on the games, if so thats why they wont work

I didn't do anything. no fixes no nothing

I installed

Then needed to move the NDS date back a year

It booted up

Then some games wouldn't work

Formatted FAT32 fresh

and now everything works

Its trial and error mate, can be a pain but it works, better when u have all links on 1 page.

I might have to! My original R4 card isn't letting me play newer games and I don't even want to pretend to want to mess with it...Since it's an original

The problem with ds cards, especially the R4/R4i is that there are allot of clones doing the rounds. If you use the link i posted, you will find the firmware you need. If you use the latest firmware, you wont have to mess with the clock settings, nor patch games as game comapatability is built into the firmwares.
