Cheers bud, I've got 1.0.8 ver HBC. My hbc is using ios38, but I have ios 58 installed. I have read that if I re-install the hbc it will automatically use ios 58 ?. The reason I ask is that there has been so many issues installing wiimc, I am unsure what to do. All help and advice appreciated.

Ps. it loads from hbc with" ios not supported " assuming this is my 38. But Wiimc still loads. The forwarder doesn't work, I'm getting a ret 1029 wad install error.

that's was i read, you might need to re instal the hbc first to get it to use ios58...

So I reinstalled the hbc, tried to install the forwarder and still got the Ret 1029 wad install error, so I updated my wad manager from 1.4 to 1.7 and this worked for me. So now to the hard part, as bad as I am with the Wii, I'm shite with computers , thanks again to ck & buzzer .

after a day trawling the net reading tuts, i can do it no bother.
its actually very easy to set up,
i could talk you thruogh it in 5 minutes...
