Perfect - thanks. I also changed my wireless network channel number back to a standard one, not sure if that makes a differnce, but the box is just downloading the parts of 3.2E now, so it all looks good.

Thanks for the quick reply, too!

Cracked it! Thanks again for a great tutorial.

I've also sorted out my connection probs, so its a win, win...

Must try and back up the kids' games now (and I might just find somethings lying aroun the interweb)

Hi i'm totally new to these forums as i am new to softmodding....
I was wondering.. What if you want to put your Wii back in the original state for some reason (mine now runs 3.4e) is there a way? Or is this hack for ever and never reversable?

Thanks in advance for the reply!

              Thanks m8!
But what if you've already installed Starfall...? Is it then impossible to run the original IOS again?

              Thanks

I'm pretty sure as soon as you install another firmware the starfall hack is deleted m8.
Not tried it myself but I'm sure you'll be able to update you Wii if you want to.

                        Just got

                        Reading boot.dol:
                        start cluster = 0000
                        boot.dol not found (-1), reading boot.elf:
                        start cluster = 0000
                        Failed to read boot.elf (-1)!
No code found to load, hanging.

This was the last 25% of message when I walked Zelda backwards. What have I done?????

You dont have your SD card set up properly for it to read m8, folder should be like this

                          wiiload,at the root,inside this,Lin32,osx,win32,wiiload.tar.gz

Also what version of firmware are you running in your Wii ?, there are 2 different versions depending on the firmware.

Ok no where near am afraid. I extracted a file which shows the hack file on my wii (one for USA, one Jpn and one EUR)

                              it was Wii Softmod

                              on my sd card is

                              folders:
                              00000001
                              apps
                              private
                              WAD
                              boot.dol

Have i got the wrong file. Most of the instructions followed goes to plan till it fails on ELF loader.

Everyone else seems to have breezed through.

                              Arghhhhhhh

You need the homebrew channel for 3.4E m8, you will be using the one for 3.3E and below.

This is the correct version for ya m8.
