Creating Forwader/channels

I give up.....backing up the nand is an ongoing process just like creating a system restore point on a pc not just a one time gig as it saves all your settings and installed programs that way if anything goes wrong you have a recent known working configuration and do not have to reinstall from scratch

Yes I know what it does that isn't the problem if you restore the NAND it will have HBC and BootMii already installed won't it?

im trying to work it out myself with but i think it needs to be ahbrot?? static base wad?

yes your first nand backup will contain hb channel and bootmii but that is easily put back to virgin state by running the hackmii installer from the hb channel and uninstalling bootmii and the hb channel.

if your path is not is not the same on your hdd then try renaming them.

Changed folder name, but im sure i need to keep the original wiimc folder for the patched one to work..... it says to have both on the guide i used when the dol was compiled

sould i use custermizemii create a forwarder or can i use the latest one you sent and change the path somehow?????.

have you got ios58 installed?
IOS58 Installer - WiiBrew
in customizemii try options tab forwarder tab select forward toboot.dol and enter your path

yes mate got ios 58 installed

i originally tried that with the first forwarder you sent me..
i got an error.

i used a complex forwarder is that right, changed the path in the next page...

do i need to do anything else to the new wad??

i have to use complex as normal can only select sd as target

i do have devkit ppc & libogc...but the libogc files in mine are less than the dowload from their site.. shall i just copy them over or merge.. thing is i cant rmember how to merge doh...

I have sucessfully made the forwarder, but it does not work.

But thanks for all the help i now, do know how to make a forwarder or a channel. but think this app just wont have it!

I will however use the info to make some in the future.

custermizemii 3.11 seems to be the easiest way!
