i used to like coverfloader but unfortunetly around a couple years ago the developers stopped working on it so its not really worth using anymore as it wont play any new games.
try usbloadergx/wiiflow/uloader or cfgloader

Well Paul I hope you did all 3 options in the softmod.

1. Install Homebrew.
2. Install BootMii in IOS.
3. Prepare SD card - so you can do a NAND backup, without this you won't be able to.

Step 2: Do a NAND backup.

Step 3: Install PriiLoader 0.7 to block online and disc updates, plus you can remove the 'A' prompt on startup.

If you want to use USB Loader GX which is the best download Usbloader gx 2.3 r1128 and d2x v7 with mmm 13.4 because you will need MMM to install the wads needed for the USB Loaders.

All USB Loaders use cIOS249 I'm at work at the moment so I don't have any links. You can install all the wads in d2x v7 final. Thats should get it running then you need to get a suitable USB drive to load your games onto.

As an added thing you could run a sysCheck that will show you all the IOS's that the system is using in case you have a problem just post the report from there.

I have succesfully put the homebrew channel on and followed steps on modmii , i have the usb loader channell but i dont have a disc channel so i can play my backup games.
When i launch the homebrew channel there is no icon for a disc channel to put on my wii.
Can someone please help and advise what i need to do
