You need to reinstall hbc it is running on ios 61 and all new loaders require it to be running on ios 58. Don't know what softmod guide you followed but don't use it again.Comment

Thx 4 the reply, i update my HBC to the new 58 IOS but i still get the error (RET = -1). You also know how to fix this? USB loader GX still works. But i try to play the game Kirby Return to dreamland. But it freez at the titel screen of the game. I read somewhere that i have to update my USB loader/IOS versions but cant get the last USB loaders working..Comment

Welcome to DK.
What you need to do first is post a sysCheck report as instructed in that link then we can see if you have all the necessary wads installed.
If you have and your using the correct USB socket on the Wii the one nearest the edge then either your USB socket has gone duff or your USB HDD isn't compatible or you have the wrong format on that drive or you haven't loaded the games in the correct format.
How did you format this WD HDD?
If you have a big enough USB flash drive you could put 1 game on and see it that is recognised and shows in GX. If it does then the USB port must be OK then we are back to the WD drive.
Take you pick?Keith

I had this one before it was due to the partition not being marked as active, you need to mark it as active in order for the Wii to be able to see it.
I'm new here but i have had some experience with Wii's also some hard drives can be problematic so try pluging it in when the usb loader is looking for it
hope it helpsComment

WILL DO.
I will do a system check and post it on here in a day or so, i am getting ready for my brothers wedding tomorrow. thanks for your responce. i formated my hdd with partition magic to FAT32 then used WBFS manager to format it in wbfs, set a primary and active, i am using the bottom usb port as stated.
i am running IOS58 i tryed to load IOS249,222 but says STUB? thankyou again for your reply and i will get back to you as soon as i have done a sys check.

Well the sysCheck will be a better help to us see which wads you have plus we will know which Wii version your using because you don't say.
If you formatted the drive with partition magic to FAT32 why did you use WBFS Manager and format it again? I know WBFS Manager needs to use wbfs format. I use WBFS Manager and everything works on my drive.
As for installing IOS249, IOS222 you may as well install all the wads in Full Cios wad pack that has d2x v8.0 as well but install the other wads before the d2x wads.Keith
