usb loader gx problem

Still can't do what download USBLoaderGX_Installer.exe or copy the files onto the SD card?

I don't know whats wrong with your browser as I've just downloaded USBLoaderGX_Installer.exe yet again perfectly.

As I said previously once you download the exe you insert your SD card into your computer. Open it up to you can see the files\folders. Delete apps\usbloader_gx folder and the config folder on the root.

You then run USBLoaderGX_Installer.exe and it writes all the correct files on the SD card in the correct folders.

it still wont download the exe. keeps saying installation aborted and the same error code

i did what you said but now usb loader gx wont load at all from the wii menu. all i have on the sd card is the above file

Did you uninstall the old forwarder and use the one from that pack

If you extracted that pack onto an empty sd card them launched mmm and installed the gx forwarder wad from wad manager sms have left the sd card in the wii them everything should be working. I can only assume you haven't if you have nothing in hbc. Don't know what you have done but on the root of the sd card there should be an apps folder and a wads folder.

So nothing shows only the bubbles screen?

Well if there is nothing in HBC then there are no boot.dol's in the apps sub folders or the SD card is corrupted.

When I format the sd card it wipes everything. I have all the stuff saved. Should I wipe the sd card and leave the empty apps and wad folders on there. Then put that gx loader in the apps file?

You must have something in the apps folder else as I say HBC will show nothing only bubbles. You use USB Loader GX so there should be a usbloader_gx sub folder in apps thats what the USB Loader GX channel looks for the boot.dol file.

I would assume you have MMM in the apps folder so you may as well leave the wad folder just incase you need to install more at sometime.

Sorry I don't see any point in formatting the SD card everytime if you want to add an apps just select and delete the things you don't want then copy and paste the new folders and files.

Ok I'm lost now.....Are you trying to play backup discs from gx or are you using an hdd and if you have done everything I have instructed and have all the correct folders and files in the right place then your hdd is not being recognised, or may be on the way out as it used to work. I'll have a proper read of the whole thread again when I get home from work and see if I can figure what you've done and if need be we can start from scratch step by step

cheers. i'm trying to load games using a 32gb memory stick. i was going to buy a hdd when i know how to do it all properly. i did get a couple to work before i updated gx. at the moment i'm just burning back ups and using neogamma

A lot of memory sticks won't work they just aren't compatible

I know mate, when I get a chance I'll dig out an older version of gx 2.3 and put it into a pack that you can load direct from hbc instead of using a forwarder just to see if can isolate the problem, one other question what format is the usb stick and do you have an apps folder on it with a version of gx in it.

at the moment i think its wbfs, and there's no apps file on there
