usb loader is configurable with loads of option but plug ugly,wiifloader less cunfigurable but much better looking interface

usb loader needs unstubbed cios249 v9

i managed to soft mod my wii ok (version 4.2e)everything seems to work ok but when i installed the usb loader i got a message saying : usb loader needs
unstubbed cios 222 v4
or unstubbed cios 249 v9

i havent a clue what to do to get it working and cant find any info on unstubbed cios's.

any help woulb be great thanx , chris

what tut did you follow? sounds like you missed a step, can you play backups off disc?

i dont have any backups on disk, i have a few iso's on harddrive but this is what i can't get to work.
i`ve read so many soft mod solutions and installed all sorts of things that i cant remember which i used originally,or where i've gone wrong, unfortunately most of what i installed doesn't work, HBC works fine and i can download games from there, but anything i install manually doesn't seem to work.

I've been using this, but some of the ISOs are coming up with Error 2, an a few with blank blue screens. Any ideas please? Do I need to uninstall this and use a different USB loader or do I need to update my Cios?

I've had my Wii softmodded for some time and play some games off back up discs (not all work) I've upgraded to 4.2e and want to be able to use an external hard drive to play the most recent games (new super mario bros etc) anybody know if the steps on the first page will help or know were the best way to do it is. Thanks in advance.

I'm having trouble

Have installed bannerbomb for 4.2 and wii is all updated usinf the safe 4.2 updater, I have homebrew channel on the wii menu, i open it and i get blue screen with bubbles rising up and I have the usbloader and cIOS36_rev9-Installer in the apps folder and nothing appears in the homebrew channel so cant load the cIOS36_rev9-Installer as stated in the first post

Any ideas please!!!!

Right managed to get the cIOS36_rev9-Installer to install buy naming the folder in apps to cIOS36_rev9-Installer and the actuall installer inside i had to change the name to boot

Did this to the hdloader v1.1 aswell and this also ran but when i get the black rectangle appear with the hdloader1.1 i get an error that reads......

"CUSTOM IOS COULD NOT BE LOADED ! (RET = -4100)"

just got this wii hackedn the homebrew channel is working and and got my usb loader gx(covers don't work)... i am trying to use wiiflow but don't know how to create the channel and install
