You need to rename the loader to boot.dol, then place it in its own folder and then place it in apps folder in the SD Card. Hope this help.Comment

This is what you need to do:
1. create 2 folders and name one "Usbloader" and the second "cios rev9"
2. Rename the loader to boot.dol and place it in the usbloader folder you just created
4. Now rename cios rev9 to boot.dol and place it in cios rev 9 folder
5. Place both "Usbloader" and "cios rev9" folders inside the apps folders in your SD card.
5. Stick it in your Wii and enjoy.
The reason to rename them is because Homebrew channel cannot read them if they are not labelled as "boot.dol" format. So in the future if you need to add more applications, just a create a folders as the applications' name and rename the actual applications as boot.dol.Comment

Just wondering if there are any 'problem' games which USB loader cannot handle. I've heard that certain mod-chips had problems with some of the mario games, but was told that because USB loader is actually replicating the DVD drive itself, this type of problem doesn't arise.
I much prefer the idea of games running off a hard drive anyway rather than dodgy burned DVD's, so USB loader definitely seems the way to go. But just wondered if anyone had any opinions about my question above. Thanks guys. :-)Comment

Maybe you've done this already but have you connected your wii to the internet wirelessly before? if NO please do it and try reinstalling again; but if you have, give me the error message that your wii is displaying and I'll take from there.Comment

thanks i will give it a try but for now i will have to leave it as the kids are taking it home 2day so i will try later in week from what i remember it was error message 166 although i couldnt be sure
just a thought after reading a few posts on the internet it seems a few people have had problems with installing firmware version 3.4e just wondering if you could verify or anyone else that this firmware works with 3.4e wiiComment

Hi guys, got a problem and I wonder if anyone can help please?
I've installed the homebrew channel, USB loader 1_0 and cIOS38 rev14 with IOS38-64-v3610.wad on my SD card
I've managed to rip a couple of my discs (wii fit and wii sports) to my hard drive, and they play back from the hard drive perfect
But if I try to use ISO's downloaded from the net, each time i try to start the game I get a blue screen with a message saying error #002 and it tells me to reboot my wii. A couple of the images claim to have been "cleaned with wiiscrubber 1.4"
Any ideas why these do not work and what error #002 means? Are they just duff iso's or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help.
