So your thinking on buying a new Wii so you don't have one at the moment?

As said all new Wii's are 4.3 so LetterBomb will ONLY softmod it. The Wii must have an internet connection for this to work.

A typical 4.3 sysCheck after softmodding, this is one I did this August.

You will see there are 17 stubs which you have to install certain wads to remove the stub word so it only shows 5.

Download sysCheck and add it to the SD card. All applications that run from Homebrew have to be in the apps folder in their respective sub folders on the SD card. Put the SD card back in the Wii and run sysCheck from Homebrew this will make a sysCheck.csv on the root of the SD card which is needed for the next part.

Download ModMii6.1.5 and run it from Windows. On the main menu type in SU and type in the location of the sysCheck.csv. Its easier to put this on the root of a drive as it saves typo's.

That will download all wads and apps that are missing into a COPY_TO_SD sub folder. Add all files and folders to your SD card and run Homebrew with the SD card inserted.

First of run IOS236 installer from Homebrew and install IOS36 as IOS236. Come back out and run Multi-Mod-Manager and select WAD Manager this will default to the wad folder install all wads in there. Watch for the Installed OK message after each one. If any don't install just try them again.

Now ModMii only installs 2 d2x v8.0 wads so you may as well install all the others. d2x v8.0 final pack

You need to install PriiLoader 0.7 to block online and disc updates. I also disable the 'A' prompt on startup.

After you've installed all the wads listed you can run a sysCheck again and it should say 5 stubs which is ok.

You can install the forwarder wads so that app will show on the Wii menu. I will tell you that after its softmodded and all the wads are installed.

I can't help you with Nintendo 64, snes, sega and gamecube games as I don't have any. These have been talked about before on here if you search.

So are you waiting for the sales (which have probably started) before you buy your new Wii?

Actually no its already cheap enough. But i had to choose between a PS3 or a wii (i wanted the PS3) but its not for me, its for my little brother. Most of ps3 games contains violence thats why i chose a wii for him.

All i need to buy now is an external harddrive
