    Hi there,

I know I'm a bit late with modding my Wii. But it seems now is the time to do so ;-)
I've tried like other people to make USB loaders accept/find my USB drive but they won't find it. It keeps coming up with a message that it at least requires cIOS 222 or 245-250.

I just did the Sys Check. I'm posting the results here, hoping someone can help me figuring this one out.

    Thanks beforehand.

As you may have read on here that's a typical sysCheck of a Wii that's only been softmodded as you have 16 IOS's that are Stub. You need to reduce that 16 down to 4 or 5.

Download ModMii6.3.1 and run ModMii.exe from Windows. Use the SU option from the main menu and find the location of the sysCheck.csv from the sysCheck which is on the root of the SD card. That will download all missing wads and apps to COPY_TO_SD sub folder just add all files and folders to the SD card.

ModMii only installed 2 d2x v8.0 wads download d2x v8 Final wad pack and put these in the wad folder on the SD card, install all 7 wads when you install the other wads.

Put the SD card back in the Wii and run Homebrew. Run IOS236 Installer v5 Mod first before you install any other wads. Multi Mod Manager (MMM) should be the first app listed select it and load it. Once running scroll down to WAD Manager and press 'A' that will default to all wads in the wad folder. If you want to install all wads shown just press 1 that will list all wads you want to install press 'A' again to install them all.

Watch for the Installed OK message after each one. If any don't say that message make a note of the wad name and back out. Scroll down to the wad that didn't install and press the + button the put a green + next to it then press 'A' to see that wads name listed then press 'A' to install again.
Download PriiLoader 0.7 add it to the SD card and run it from Homebrew and set it to block online and disc updates, you can turn off the 'A' safety prompt on startup I do.

If you have to update to 4.3 then the Shopping Channel may not work. If it doesn't without doing another system update don't bother just install my RVL-Shopping-21

Do another sysCheck to make sure everything installed correctly and post that.

Then you just have a to find a compatible mains powered USB hard drive to add your games onto and download USB Loader GX 3.0 to run them.

          Hi Keith,

          Just arrived back home ;-)
Can you tell me if I need to remove 'stubs' first manually:

"...as you have 16 IOS's that are Stub. You need to reduce that 16 down to 4 or 5."
or is that done by using the modMii631-file?

I've run the ModMii631 and all downloads have been done. Extracted d2x v8 Final wad pack to the sd card\wad .
Placed the sd card in the wii, but I don't see IOS236 Installer v5 Mod when opening HBC.

Let me know how to proceed. Thanks again!

No you don't remove Stubs you install the wads for the IOS's that are Stub, you need to reduce those 16 Stubs down to 4 or 5.

If you have used ModMii that should have given you IOS236 Installer v5 Mod which is in the apps folder on the SD card. If you don't have it download COPY_TO_SD and copy all files and folders to the SD card, that's what ModMii should have given you.

As I've said you also need to download and install PriiLoader 0.7 add it to the SD card and run it from Homebrew and set it to block online and disc updates, you can turn off the 'A' safety prompt on startup I do.

IOS36-64-v3351.wad produced by ModMii is the only wad that goes root on the SD card. Even though its named IOS36 its used to install IOS236.

Do a full format of the SD card to FAT32 that will check for any bad sectors. Then add all files and folders from my

He is my sysCheck yours should look the same. sysCheck #MKWDueNa

If you want to remove IOS16 Stub add cIOS16-v257 this wad to the wad folder and install it with Multi Mod Manager (MMM) it won't help your Wii only install this wad to remove the Stub.

                  Then post a new sysCheck.

                    Hi Keith,

Well I did manage to get the IOS36-64-v3351.wad installed after formatting the SD-card.
Then I tried to remove the IOS16 stub by adding the cIOS16-v257 through MMM but after I select the wad-file and press A to install it says the following:
                    * Installing 1/1: cIOS16-v257.wad - Title (-2011)
[#] Final Status - 1 did not complete.
                    Press any...

Then I tried to install all wads in a batch, but only 1 of 30 gets an OK! message. Too bad that one just goes out of vision, it's no 20/30 and it has the name: IOS62-64-v6430.wad

I also tried to remove stubbed IOSs by MMM, when selecting 1 it says it can't remove them. Hmmm.

Now IOS236 is installed I can load it with the last option of the menu: Load another IOS. Current now is IOS58. After loading 236 I can remove the stubbed IOSs. Didn't expect this, but the're gone now (used option1 : IOS222, 223, 249, 250)

Never uninstall an IOS unless you know what your doing as it could brick your Wii.

Ok I see IOS236 is installed but you still have 12 IOS's that are Stub. You need install IOS11, IOS20, IOS30, IOS40, IOS50, IOS52, IOS220, IOS223, IOS224 to install them from my COPY_TO_SD.rar. Plus you need to add all 7 wads from d2x v8 Final wad pack and put these in the wad folder on the SD card and install all 7 of them.

Pressing 'A' in Multi Mod Manager (MMM) installs all wads in the wad folder you can select individual wads but scrolling down with the big + button and press the + button that will put a green tick next to that IOS. If you make a mistake you can press the - button and that will remove the green tick. Scroll down and put a tick next to all IOS's I listed above then press 'A' to see that wads name listed in the next window then press 'A' to install then all, watch the OK message after each one is installed.

I see you've installed PriiLoader, have you blocked disc and online updates?

                        Hi Keith,

Will try that tonight again. But for IOS236 I had to use the IOS236 Installer v5 and place the wad-file on the root of the SD-card. Is there a separate installer for these IOSs and do I need to place the wad-files on the root of the SD-card?

If I need to place all wad-files in the wad-folder and use batch install/one-by-one installation (using -/+), tried that before but didn't work out. Okay...that was before formatting the SD-card. So maybe this time it works, but not sure.

                        Thanks again.

I assure you batch install/one-by-one installation (using -/+) does work try it again.

If you have just softmodded this Wii did you do a NAND backup straight afterwards? That puts keys.bin, nand.bin and the bootmii folder in the SD car with armboot.bin, bootmii.ini, ppcboot.elf in there.

Uhhhh? NAND backup? :-/ Is that on the Windows Home, Options, Memory etc and seeing the green blocks appear? That I did do according to the instructions in the package yes. Need to do something with those files? I moved the contents of the SD Card to my laptop before formatting. It's possible that they're still there.

Ok, so regardless if batch install says fails and separate installs fails just keep trying for a few times then. Didn't do this.

                              Hi Keith,

I indeed have the armboot.bin, bootmii.ini, ppcboot.elf on a back-up of the SD card. Going to try to install the wad-files again...

I've tried to install the wads again, but only one gets installed: IOS62-64-v6430.wad. I've repeatedly tried the first 14/15 wads separately, each 3 or 4 times but no success. Then did the batch and only one gets installed.
