Wii softmod for Dummies(without zelda)

this soft mod uses the bannerbomb crack read the pdf file and follow the instructions and all should be fine. I have not tested this on version 4 but feedback would be welcome. Print out the pdf. file before you do anything read it twice and follow the instructions precisely step by step.
For those downloading the games use the Patcher to convert all the games burn at slow speed( i burn at 4x using nero) use verbatim - (not +)discs. This is for versions 3 wii's.Please do not use this thread for first post, the thread is to help those that need help and advice.

Re format your card and try again new cards should be formatted just to be sure as well

connect your hard drive to your wii use the iso dumper to load your games on the hard drive and no more scratched discs

What size SD card are you useing. Only a 2gb is recommended

thanks a lot akyboo! im just preppin to buy a wii and i wanted to see if i could unlock my wii to play backups etc instead of actually using a modchip since i dont want to mess with the hardware side..thanks again!

will this work with version 4.0.i was on 2.3 but someone updated it earlier .but i cant get past the first bit where it kicks in the boot. bit it looks for 2 files and then says i have to restart even tho it not found what it want s and then its not working.thanks
