sorry group. got another card and got the SD to work. But on part 2, where it state "
Press the "HOME" button on the Wii controller and choose BootMii", I do not see the BootMii option.... Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

I need to update to 4.2

I did softmod for 4.0 a while back and all worked fine. At the time I did the mod, cIOS was at ver 7.0. I have BootMii installed as BOOT2 and although all the HB is working just perfect I can no longer use the latest versions of Nintendo, Shopping or latest Internet channels cos since I modded they all now require a system update before they can be used. Couple of questions:

      1. With BootMii on BOOT2 can I go ahead and do the update to 4.2 via Nintendo then run the Wii via BootMii to reload HBC and my backup launcher (NEOGamma v15b)?

      2. Assuming i can update to 4.2. NEOGamma is also telling me I need to update cIOS. Do I just get the latest version of cIOS and load via WAD manager?

i havent got it working yet i think you need to copy a patched dol file to the sd card which then makes the wii think its ok to play or i think it plays through a hdd if you load it on there with usb loader. i cant confirm at the minute cos the kids have took it home i tried the supposedly working iso file on here to a dvd but it didnt work for me when i tried on the wii

this is the patched dol file that supposed to make it work but its untested at the minute by me

is there any chance that this method could brick my wii?
