Upon loading uloader, I encounter the black screen of death. In the face of this challenger, I find myself in possession of naught but a limp wiimote.
The state of my wii is as follows:
-no disk inside wii
-SD card inside wii
-USB drive in port 1
My wii is old. I recieved it a few years ago.
The last time I installed/used letterbomb, the homebrew channel, and uloader, was about one year ago.
The last time (the "before" time) that I used uloader, it worked. I am using the same SD card. I am using the same USB drive. The USB drive has the same games on it.
The condition of the USB drive is as follows:
-formatted as wbfs
-has games on it
-worked before
The state of the wii software:
-version 4.3U (same as before)
Things that i have done, experiments that I have tested, tests that I have run:
-changing the usb port
-removing an unrelated game disc
-inserting an unrelated game disc
-removing the SD card
-inserting the SD card
-removing the gamecube card
-turning it off and turning it back on again
-traveling to the 1920s and killing a fly
all combinations of the above tests have been tried
The contents of my SD card are as follows:
00000001.ThisIsAFolder (because this is actually a folder, not a file with an extension)
bootmii.ThisIsAFoler
private.ThisIsAFolder
VCd.ThisIsAFolder
APACHE-2.0.txt
boot.elf
CREDITS.txt
installer.txt
IOS36-64-v3351.wad
IOS38-64-v3867.wad
LICENSE.txt
README.txt
README-BootMii.txt
README-HBC.txt
I am willing to provide any further information on the contents of the SD card and am willing to run any further tests on the wii.
Thank you
