Homebrew wont connect?

I finally got my Wii softmodded. The install went well with no errors. When I try to use The Homebrew channel I just get the "bubble screen". The icon at the bottom right of the screen flashes and then turns solid (world icon).

I remember reading a post about that, but I cant seem to find it again.

Im having issues getting this installed!

Im running version 4.1E. i tried using the softmod for dummies thing, but it just wouldnt work. Screen comes up asking to batch install, but it wouldnt install anything.

I decided to then install homebrew on its own and do it the long way, but when i try and install the wadmanager, it comes up with the error -1035, or maybe 2011! not sure which. infact when i try to install anything of the loader things i get one of those errors.

I WOULD BE GRATEFUL OF ANY HELP!

you have not patched ios36 you need to do that first

is that the cIOS36 rev10 installer thing? thats where i get the errors. somthing about a ticket error! its pretty frustrating.
