Wii Softmod for Dummies(without Zelda)Reupload

yes did exactly what was told in the guide, formatted my sd card, did the install and to my sd card, then inserted it in the wii, did the process there, the wii restarted with the channels but as soon as i select one it just restarts

do i need to copy the files to the sd card and then install or can the install happen from pc

any suggestions, do you think i need to update my wii to newest version and then try another mod? i am having no luck at the moment

why is this happening, i saw that another guy had the same problem but fixed it by using a older version, don't really understand what he means, look here

nope don't work, get to install the homebrew channel but then it just goes in and does nothing, i don't really care about homebrew, just want to play backed up games. any chance i can only download that?

ok if your still having problems update to 4.2 and mod it with the 4.2 in the sticky section you will find homebrew channel further down the first page

don't know hey, some say I should not update my wii and others say I should update to latest one.

why can't this just work and why is it so much trouble. just something I wondered, the memory card needs to be FAT32 right? that is what I used.

this is so annoying

i am 3.0e and it looks like there has been similar problems in the past but can't find a solution

L.E. I've installed the softmod for dummies,and all went ok...but when i insert a burned copy of any game and start it from the backup launcher the disk trying to start and the game is not starting...if i insert a original game(wii sports) the disk is starting from both launchers(the disk Wii Resort original tell's me to update)...the version of the firmware is 3.4E
