v4.2e softmod

hello is bannerbomb the best way to soft mod a wii? I dont have zelda or twikight princess

I'm on v4.2e and I can't get it run the wad manager, I just get a black screen and it hangs, if I try to load the CIOS it also just hangs, any advice welcome.

Are You running wad manager from the homebrew channel and if so which one, & is it located in the wad directory of the SDCARD. - also which cIOS are you using and what is on the screen when it freezes.

im just got my wii.. my first console since the first nintendo

what is the best way to softmod the wii? ive been reading a bit, but i cant seem to grasp it all..
ive got the new black edition wii, with firmware 4.2E.
is it safe to softmod? will nintendo make my wii into a "brick" or block it from internet gameplay?.

Can not find boot.elf!

Hi guys i'm new to this so be patient with me please. When I insert SD card it asks if I want to open boot.elf, I click on yes then message reads 'Can not find boot.dol or boot.elf' what am I doing wrong?

this is the software I used for a 4.2, dont know if it has already been posted. Really easy to follow and only takes 15 mins

After Selecting Channels and click SD up the top. Wii freezes. Only cold boot shut it down. Help Anyone!?

it's the only way,with 4.2 zelda hack doesn't work.although i've not tried the indy hack
