trouble with just dance

I too am having troubles with this, we have the original that won't work, but have created an ISO from the disc and that plays... I want to get the original to work, without doing a system update to the wii, can this be done?

why wont the original play is it asking for a system update?

I don't know why it won't play, it crashes just after I click the logo on the disc channel. It isn't asking for an update, but aren't they supposed to be blocked..?
I have neogamma preloader, but has not been updated for about 2-3 years possibly.
Saying that, the copy I made works through NeoGamma so it isn't anything to do with that, .
I'm now using cIOS38 rev17 and gonna take a look at the custom ios installer, thanks

have tried going in wii settings and changing tv type from 50hz to 60hz or 60hz to 50hz? is the game the same region as wii?

No, still nothing with changing TV type, and yes Pal machine, and Pal game, bought brand new off play.com
All our other games still work, both back-up and new....
I have no idea , and we have tried the disc on an unmodded Wii and iit works, so it's not the disc.
Perhaps I should just virginize our wii, update through Nintendo and lose the mod..?

no need for that,try switching preloader disc updates off then try again it might want to update a ios then try it,also try installing the latest ios 53 with wad manager

i dont know if it helps guys. but.... Just dance 2 does have a 4.2 update on the disk
i think it may even have 2 as my friends wii had 3.4 installed, and when i inserted the disk it updates once. and then again. ive got it running on wiflow usb(latest) on ios249rev17 but the original disk has been run on the machine.not a backup
