            Internet Connection

            I took a quick look at the 1st of the 3 links, in the description you say you need an internet connection, is this necessary, my wii is not on internet

                                i know there are apps that can be used to stream avi movies over wi-fi to the wii but I cant remember the names.
                                any reccomendations guys?

                                        mplayer and wii mc both do this...

                                        i use wiimc for this now, works very well.....

                                            What is the best way you reccomend to watch movies on the wii? dowload torrents and use flash drive and MPlayer or stream over the internet?

                                                            I've just installed wiimc106.wad and MPlayerCE V2 dol forwarder.wad both channels are on the Wii menu. WiiMC works perfectly but MPlayer CE message says can't find boot.dol on SD card and it restarts the Wii.

                                                            I can run MPlayer CE from HBC and it works so boot.dol must be there.

                                                            I'm not really that bothered as both of them only play original DVD's.
