    unable to open uloader error message from sd card

    i followed this guide http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...like-me-20545/ step by step for my wii 3.4e console.

    by the looks of things everything went well and installed as I have the homebrew channel, uloader & I downgraded my firmware to version 3.2 - but now when i try to play a backup game via u loader i get the following error;

    cannot open: sd:apps/uloader/boot.dol

    and yes the sd card is in my wii with everything on it.

    can anyone help - do I have to uninstall everything i've done so far or ? is there a step I could have gone wrong on?

      thanks for the quick reply ck-ok.

      just double checked the sd card and uloader file is in the following directory;
      E:\apps\9. Uloader\boot.dol

      so i renamed the 9. Uloader folder to "uloader" making the directory to;
      E:\apps\uloader\boot.dol

      and wala uloader loads up. but now getting a different error;

      dvd error -1 cIOS249
      and theres a spanish flag on the disc image?

      thanks in advance.
      Omar.

        the spanish flag is normal,butit sounds like you might have a incorrectly installed cios 249 try installing this

                is the wad for cios38r17 on the root of your sd card?

                  i removed it from the root and put it in the wad folder because i couldnt access the wad that way.

                  im probably just being a newb...how do you access the wad from the root?

                    when you start the installer select wad installation and if the wad is in the root of your sd card it will find it automaticly

                        did you miss these two steps

                        Load Wad Manager in Homebrew Channel and install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
                        Load Custom WM in Homebrew Channel and install cios_fix.wad
