black wii's cant play dvd-r back up due to the drive,you need a usb stick or hard drive to play your back ups

Any ideas

On a 4.2 Wii you need to remove the stubbed IOS's before you can install a cIOS (222,223 & 249)
And to do that you will need a fakesigned IOS36

Dop-Mii V12 can do all that for you
