Well Nintendo say that v4.0+ can use SDHC Cards up to 32 GB. I use an 8GB SDHC card and it works perfectly.

So your TV has no sound even if the Wii is unplugged the sound control is turned up or has someone pressed the mute button? Then it appears you have a TV fault.

You aren't trying to play a downloaded game?

I download King of Pool the other day and it plays but there is no sound. There is a option for music and soundfx but they are both turned up.

I think we need more info?

            Which version is your Wii?

What size is the card are you using and which one are you using SD or SDHC?

What are you trying to do when this error shows up exactly?

It's 4.2e, like the topic says.
Its a 1GB SD, no mini/micro, one chunk.
When i put the first files on the SD and put it in the Wii and click the sd, it loads and then blackscreen with the story above.

Sorry I had to ask which version as you know what some users do?

God its like extracting teeth here. So what are you trying to run/load from the SD card?

                Do you have HomeBrew installed?

In part 1 which it part 1?

If you Google for wii error #004 the system files are corrupted there are quite a few sites with replies?

Even Nintendo tell you about this error.

Try , click the sd icon from the wii channel and see if you can load the boot.dol from there.
                      read this elsewhere, might work.

Just noticed you've done this already . Try re-format and another file d/l

Have you read the http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...w-guide-67927/ tutorial?

I would say your best bet is update to 4.3 and use LetterBomb then follow the tutorials on adding USB Loaders with an external hard drive.
