softmodded wii help

will already softmodded but not working properly so i am thinking of upgrading and totaly unsure how.
do i have to remove the existing softmod and run on a virgin console
or is their a way to to update safely overwriting softmod
or must i do a full nand backup?
then remove then update
looked in the forums to much information carnt see the best way to proceed any help thanks.

as i can see, maybe u are talking about wii or psp,on any case , make a nand backup is always the best, DN?T remove the old softmod and just make the update or reinstall of the softmod maybe can solve ur problem...please give us more details..

firtsly update your cios with this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...s38-r17-85849/ then you need to update your loader,but untill you tell us which one you use i can't help anymore.
