OK I don't think I've grasped what I need to be doing here at all. At the moment I BELIEVE I have soft modded ok. However I cannot find NeoGamma (reading a nother thread) and I have been trying to play a disc in the normal way that I have always played discs in the past. Is this the correct procedure. Ath the moment all I have with my soft modded wii is a new skin and an upgrade from 3.3e to 4.1. All I ever wanted was to play New Super Mario.

Happy New Year to you and others.

I'm up and running now. Thanks for your help.

        One thing though.

I done this soft mod mainly for New Super Mario Bros, and thats 100% ok with a WBFS file size of 360,448kb.

However the WBFS files sizes of the following are obviously not as reduced.

        Mario Kart 2,713,600kb
        Mario Party 3,461,200kb
James Bond - Golden Eye 4,040,704kb

I bought a 16gb flash drive and thought I was going to get about 40 games on based on New Super Mario Bros sized file, but I'm obviously not going to get that at all.

Is the New Super Mario WBFS unusually small?

Also is there a list of external hard drives that definately do work with the Wii?

        Thanks in advance.

Thank you once again. You have been very helpful from start to finish, and I pretty much think I'm up and running. I'm sure I'll run into obstacles in the near future with the running of some games, but as always this forum has knowledgable members that are willing to help.
