that solution worked. Thanks a lot all installed, however, now I am triyng to play burned dvd games but neogamma channle gives me disk read error 1167.

I will researc and see if i could find any solution.

Now I've just had a read on another forum Hackmii Installer - FIX

This guide should fix:
Hackmii- No Vulnerable Ios Found- suck it
Hackmii- Black Screen
Hackmii- Scam Screen Freeze

You will probably have to join this forum before you can download anything or read Spoilers.

Well thats the same error I get when trying to play burnt DVD's with NeoGamma this action is blocked by Nintendo on 4.3 stick to the HDD.

i have followed the guide but when the hackmii loads up from the art room instead of getting the menu to install the home-brew channel it comes up

sd card not present (-1056964576)

no code found to load, hanging

the only thing i am doing different is useing a 8gb sd card

any ideas would be a great help thanks

Thats your problem it must be a 2GB or less for the softmod. After its been modded you can use any size you want on a 4.0+ system.

Hi every one, wandering dose anyone know if there's anything special or different about softmoding a 4.3e SPECIAL EDITION red Wii? Has anyone used this method on a special edition before? Seems to come with extra channels and im not sure and better ask before finding out bad news first hand

So which extra channels do you have?

Providing its a 4.3 then you shouldn't have any problems if you follow this guide.

They do a Black Wii Limited Edition which mods just the same, they also do a blue and pink version they normally class the red Wii as a Limited Edition are you sure its a Special Edition?.

well its the 25 year anniversary edition with preloaded 25th anniversary version of SMB, im unsure as to if they have upped the security as well.

red/black or pink there all the same just a different coloured case. mod them the same way.

Hi im a newbie on the wii stuff aswell,
i bought a softmodded wii with usb harddrive etc and all is working fine .
My wii is on 4.0 and i would like to update is to 4.3E
Now is the situation like this :
Wanikoko's usbloader is on my wii at the moment. i think its using his own channel because if i take the sd card out , it still works ( so its on the wii itself)
I did put usbloader GX on the SD and accesed it through homebrew channel and put a wfbs formatted harddrive on it and it worked fine ( except for some games that need the 4.3E update.
Now my question is :
I rather want to go with usbloader GX ( it looks nicer and works with more games) do i have to take the other loader out of my WII , and how do i do that ?
Can i update my WII using this tuturial BEFORE i update to 4.3E instead of after the update?

It says you cannot take out the SD Card once you have hack the wii is that true?
