Hiya there folks!
I have been trying to 'softmod' my wii and unfortunately, have been very unsuccessful. This site seems like a great place, with awesome instructions, so before I even started I wanted to thank the person who took the time to write out the detailed instructions. It is SO greatly appreciated!! (now, hopefully it will work..

Welcome to the forum momma2mygirls.
If you using 4.3 you don't need the Indiana Jones game anymore you can use LetterBombKeith

So you didn't download LetterBomb.zip which opens with WinZip and which doesn't need any original game disc to softmod.
So you're going to have the buy or borrow a Indiana Jones - Original Adventure game disc now, there is no helping some users?
To open the rar file of here you need WinRARKeith

I'm so very sorry there is "no helping some users" ...So you didn't download LetterBomb.zip which opens with WinZip and which doesn't need any original game disc to softmod.

I have had Lego Indiana Jones original game since it came out. So I had no need (or so I thought) to download the letterbomb file. Thank you for the additional help, so sorry for any confusion, if I have any additional problems I will go ask someone else. Again, apologies.Comment

Welcome to the forum.
I presume you've read the first post?
Yes you have to move around in the first part to click on the two silhouettes characters in the ArtRoom room for start the HackMii install. From the System Menu go to Wii Settings, Data Management, Save Games, Wii, SD
Select your region Save Game (in my case it was Indiana PWNS EU) & go to Copy, hit Yes when you are asked whether you would like to copy the Save Game to your Wii Memory.
Once its finished copying the Save Game over, delete the 3 Save Games from the SD card.
Disconnect the Wii Nunchuk & go back to the Home screen. Select to play Indiana Jones Original Adventures again. When you reach the Indiana Jones Original Adventures menu screen, select Load Game & load the save game from Slot 1 (0.0%).
When the game loads, you will be in BarnettCollege. Walk to the ArtRoom (through the Courtyard), approach the left character on the podium. When it zooms on him, choose the switch to option (two silhouettes, staggered, with an arrow pointing between them).
This will start the Hackmii installer.
If you've done the mod why are you asking?
As I've said before this is an old tutorial so you can now use LetterBomb to softmod your Wii without an original game disc.Keith

Nice clear instructions, getting ready to do the softmod (which I've been putting off for fear of having an expensive white brick in my living room!!). ThanksComment

Quick Question
Hi peeps, quite new to this forum lark. Just wondering (and sorry if I am repeating) My child accidentally upgraded the wii to 4.3E (previously soft modded). Now I did build a NAND the first time round but deleted homebrew channel in case kids messed anything up. My question is can I use Lego Indy Game to create homebrew channel then load up NAND? Or am I best to follow full guide. Many thanks in advance.Comment
