        I used to use TVersity and windows Mediaplayer. Then I got myself xtreamer and was happy with it for a while until I gave it to my kid brother. I recomend either xtreamer or simply a long HDMI cable to stream media from your PC or laptop. Nothing can encode better than a PC, man. Unless you have some old pentium II with no graphic card.

        Im saying this because after using PS3 to stream media (from USB, TVersity) for a year, the PS3 cooling fan went crazy for no reason
