Dont think this is beta dash as mentioned the liteon console fell over right away with LT 1.1 on it.

Will leave it another couple of days and wait for more updates if any.

my friend has a benq in his xbox, i have looked at his log from when i flashed hes box and it tells me he used to have a 7series.

he tried to update with the benq and would fail!

so he put a samsung in to try update and it updated!

he put his benq drive back in and all game swork but not cod. nfs, acb,fable 3 all work!

cod will not work and he tried the copy without the ap2.5 patch and it still dont work.

all is good, just waiting for him to get banned.

I have just read everythign you guys have been saying since my post .. wooooooooshhhhh (that was the sound of it goign over my head )........


MY XBOX was bought new year n half ago an flashed straight away almost .. as far as i know it has a liteon drive in .. the rest .. is a little hard to follow .. even after reading some stickys.. i'll be back when i read a bit more .. Hope in the mean time this update dont ~~~~ my box ... :-) cheers for all info provided i have printed a lot of it out

Ok for those who have taken the update.

Reflash your drive after the update, and all games bar ap2.5 ones will work again.

@CGS, there is no such things as offline play mate. The console will store the info, and upload to live once your connected. So staying on an offline profile is not staying safe.

Yes i know that Janobi but everyone seems to think that playing games before release and not patching games properly will get you banned so i still use the term offline play.

Going to do the samsung again today replaced with OFW and see what happens then move onto the Benq's. Have you successfully updated yours yet Janobi?

My box has a lite on drive .. still dont understand what the phatt stuff means but like i say im reading my stuff n learning so will keep the noob posts to minimum ,

my question is i gather manufacture date plays a part in all this flashing buisness.. can anyone tell me anything more about my box that i would need to/should know before i attempt this project .. it was manufactured on 25/7/09

1 i dont take the update or my back ups wont play .
2 i can see that you just re-flash from previous posters... but does the mfr date determine what kip i need to purchase ..?
