360 no picture

hi when i turn my 360 on i get no pic

let me guess. youve had it on hdmi and now want to use it via av cables?

1. Remove any discs from the disc tray.
2. Turn the console off.
3. Turn the console on. Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn the console on by using the Xbox Guide button on the controller. Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller will have the upper-left quadrant light illuminated.
4. As the console starts, press and hold the Y button, and then pull the right trigger at the same time.
5. The Xbox Dashboard resets the display settings to the default settings, and then automatically restarts the console.

no ive had it on av all the time and now ,it doest show the 360 sign, just get a black screen and if i havet got the lead in, its not the lead i have checked it

If you're getting no picture and sound then its the start of the RROD

But check you haven't accidentally put it onto hd as you get no pic with that its worth trying the post above's advice.

Im leaning towards overheating also, especially if its a xenon or zephyr.

that is a 1 red light error, i fixed one b4 and it comes on but after a bit it goes green and other colours on screen. you can still see but its crappy.

reball is your best bet mate, make sure you send it to a proper business, not a guy from here!

i dont get any red lights at all, all the green lights on front should flash green but i get nothing

all i get is the green light in the middle, fans work, dvd works im puzzled

I have repaired about 5 or 6 consoles with that error, a re-flow and hybrid x-clamp kit. Its nearly always a solder short under the gpu. All errors and codes can be looked up on xbox-experts.co.uk

i got this too butmine was cus i tried to output 1080 on a 720 tV

well there are lots of ways to fix it such as
reflow the board
or the x clamp fix
or towel trick (NOT RECOMENDED)
and let me no if its sorted

tryed that, used heat gun, let it over heat until 2 red lights , still nothing, tried reflashing it , im lost still no picture
