Its all a risk m8. I have never been banned but my mates have for flashed xbox's so its defo a risk. Last 1 lasted 4 years without a ban, rrod got it in the end
What i do, is have 2 xbox's. 1 flashed, 1 not, flashed 1 used to stop offline but now goes online. The other is there not doing anything, but if xbox 1 gets banned, will just flash it then

its certianly something id think about doing and when i was going to play a downloaded game then just disconnect my ethernet cable for the xbox. issue i have is flashin the drive as i have no way of connecting the xbox to the laptop.Comment
