what speed you burn at??

I'm having terrible trouble burning the xgd3 0800 rip of batman . immageburn keeps failing as does clone cd..

Is a drive like this esential for burning the new 0800 xgd3's

as i've wasted bout 12 discs allready and am busting my balls to play this

I would say yes you will need a new burner if you want to be 100% sure as the methed used at the moment only burns 97% of the game. You can choose from 6 burners and the firmware for them will be released this weekend so not long to wait. There has already been a flashing and burning guide released to be ready for the new firmware

Been burning at x2.4

have followed the guide done the layer break thing user specified as 2133520 and clicked on calculate optimal ..

even tried a burn with the layerbreak as 2086912 and clicked on calculate optimal .. all failed ..

Im burning them with my laptop burner (only comp i have) and have neer had a problem before with a burn on the previous games ..

I WANNA PLAY BATMAN .... like .. NOW haha :-)

When ya say new Fw mate do you mean a re-flash or fw for the new dvd drive that i should buy .. also can it be hooked up to a laptop as i dont have a desk top .

i burnt driver sf, rage (3cds) and gow3, only had one coaster which was gow3, but did them all at max speed and all was fine, im using aone disks!

the fw is for the new liteon dvd drive,
i think you could use one of these if your using your laptop

hey mate, don't waste your time! my laptop can't burn them aswell. you need a pc burner, thats what i have to use.

ps. it ain't your laptop its the burner because my sony vaio laptop got 2 games out of 10disks. the laptop cost over 600 pound and it can't burn a xbox game.

if you don't wanna buy a pc buy a usb pro and the new dvd drive what c4eva is making the fw for now. you will need to buy this aswell 12V DC 4-Pin Molex External Power Supply Adapter - CK3.CO.UK

plug the new burner into the usbpro and power it with the device in the link!! best way to do it mate!

I'd say i've burnt well over 60 games with my laptop all working fine no trouble with arita discs.. but the new xgd3's are messsing up everytime..

maybe it's the burner just can't do the xgd3's
