Did you heat chips on bottom of board and when 2 red lights come on leave for further 2 mins. Let it get hot. Sometimes you can repair these boards up to 3 or 4 times as i have done plenty but you also get the odd stubborn one. If you look to buy a broken one try and make sure it hasn't had previous repair then you should have 99% strike rate fixing also try local cash generator they usually have ones for about ?10 not working. i got a good working xbox,i dont think i can say to much in here about it,but i bought 2 sets of kit for it,has about 3 qsb to solder in it plus 1 piece of kit stick in with pad,the other piece of kit unplug when done,some of you will know what i am talking about,but i dont think will be using them, 1 set cost ?29 the other cost ?26 so they will be going in drawer out of way,the only thing about it is i will have to update dash so can sort dvd rom,so once i do that 2 kits no use anyway.thanks again guys.ray.the best thing about all this is,i have never played 1 single game on an xbox.
