    I do the clamp swap and the memory chip pads!! Ive had one pad drop off and rrod its that bad!! But ive reflowed my own 2nd box 3 times now and its holding out!
    WAS MAR 2009 OCT 2012 AND NO PRICE INCREASE

      Witchy what do you use to keep the heat away from the capacitors.

      Was a bit hasty the other day, had a few layers of tinfoil, but they lifted up and i torched a capacitor. 360 Was dead a long time anyway.

      seen a lad using Blue tack and he covered all them with it then some tinfoil.

        I have used exactly the same guide on 4 different Xbox 360 and never had a problem as they have all been fixed.

        I used the blue tac as advised in the guide with oven bags and the foil with the shiny side up.
