    My advice?

Keep what you can wired, its faster than wireless. Be carefull on the wireless security as the wii an ds are picky, only support WEP, you can only have 4 devices on a WEP set up.

Wii supports WPA - I have it set up and it works fine.

Bear in mind that some cordless DECT phones interfere with wireless.

My laptop cuts out if im near the phone when it rings and its always blasted idiots trying to hawk me something useless or survey me... regardless of my junkphone preferance's

The only time i notice wireless being a problem is when im trying to stream 1080p movies from my media server, it goes all stuttery.

As for playing vidya gaems, i still get thrashed at gears of war regardless of my connection.

another thing to think about will you be streaming movies to your xbox?, cauz its been known to lag via wireless connections, that's my opinion any way.

another thing is, its gonna cost around ?60 to go wireless (and it may lag, or get a weak signal), to the ?25? for a 25m Ethernet cable.. but i presume you have already check out the prices..

i originally went wireless but didn't work for me, then brought a cable, ye it was a ball ache putting it in, but never had a problem since.

i use a powerline adapter. one plugs into the router and the other into my 360. never had any problems it works flawlessly . and the same as wireless only cheaper.
