I always say N. Then type L-O-Eras.exe (Sata port)

If you go Y then drive straight into vendor mode after a power cycle. As said the l-o-eras.exe is the firm chip protection removal and flash chip erase.

Once status FF80 has been obtained then you can proceed with a flash. To recover a drive the l-o-eras.exe is not actually needed as the flash chip should not have any protection as jungleflasher removes it when the liteon flash buttons are pressed.

Different ways to do it i suppose but this is always my option.

Although the Dos method is the quickest.

Got 2 boxes to do today. New Liteon Drives.

Gonna take pics and post up.

Again the dos method is quickest and actually safest to flash as no other drivers are loaded reduces freezing issua=es with the via cards. Guess on some dvives the 0x73 status may not actually be needed but again this IS vendor mode for the drives, which opens up flash chips to new firmware to be sent/old read to/from drives. Guess this could be a grey area on them, each to their own.

Not had any of the new drives yet but again the guides have been uploaded by myself, these are from team jungle so will be spot on as per the jungleflasher guides.
