can i flash a new 360

hi there ive been thinking about buying a 360 and getting it flashed so i can download and burn my own games . i will probably buy it from asda or tesco but will i be able to flash it or does flashing only work on older xbox360's.

In a word 'yes' it can be done, depending on what drives in it to the method used. All current 360 drives are flashable, you can just follow guides when doin it

I dont think that ms are checking boxes sent back. I sent 1 back flashed with face plate all smashed, with no security seal on the box, they sent a refurbed box in its place

correct i think they just check the odd one,and anyway it isnt likely that you wouldnt have to send back...think the 3 red light is history now with the new motherboard...also you soon get your money back!! worth the risk?? yeh!

You can remove the warranty sticker with a hairdryer and craft knife.

Also the newer stickers can peel by gently pulling the case apart

Correct about the liteons but i dont own a original game, but been on live for 2 years without a ban. This is why we have ABGX to check the games against an original online and patch. Then await release date then play away

The real danger is playing promo/review copy's that were intended for public use, that's what cause the last big batch of people to be banned.

For best security scan iso`s with ABGX360 which will compare your ISO to 2 Retail ripped discs and patch accordingly.

Playing games a few days early once you dont play the live section of the game is fine imo, with stores all over the world and game websites shipping games too early on many occasions which if MS were banning for would mean alot of legit non modded peeps getting banned.
