How to Check if your banned without going online.

just checked my xbox ok codes so thats good,but my sons as been banned now i realise that the last time i had to faf about with it to get him online on one of is gamertag names and it asked for update i clicked yes of course other wise you can not play game,it turned out to be a longer than usual update as i remember,i guess now that that was the update not to accept but this was before info like this was available....i`ll wait for an update on fw.....but....

anyone else think it is pointless if it is only an update that is needed to get a ban!!!!!! so even if a new fw comes out if ms keep on doing updates which we always have to do in order to play games that ask for updates.....youll be flagged for ban easy>>>!!!

i think the answer is go online by other methods and rebel against ms`s costly live accounts

New firm will be undetectable. Unless M$ plan to hack the new firmware right away and release an update to detect then it should be fine for a while.

They are however changing the wav of the game more often meaning that firmware will ned updated again and again.

Left 4 Dead 2 is the first wav 5 game. (good game too)

all sounds to easy for ms,they could send updates all day if they want,plus the fact that the majority of people dont know how to flsh there drives.
lets hope some fw that is real good comes out soon...
if people are going to have to update fw very often, then that will put people off flshng..

Im flashed and online. 1 console banned.
I hardly ever play the box on my own. Always on live. Even if its just to chat to the mates.

Yes mate advised if not yet Knowingly banned (as in been kicked off while online) do not sign into live until new firmware flashed.

Your console must have been banned by signing in.

That makes absolutely NO difference.

Once your console has the 190D code you WILL be banned immediately as soon as you sign into Live regardless of the firmware on your drive.

190D = Banned and you're too late to do anything about it.

This is not the case since the new f/w will not be stealth checked. Only stealth checking firmware looks at the wave version, so you if you're already banned but still want to play backups offline just install some older firmware and you'll never have to update again.

I play backups on my banned console with the boot disk.

I cant see them leaving the stealth check out of the new firmware and i was talking about people going online.

Nope i tried that but i couldnt see it.

There is no new firmware.

And i have a liteon so i have no choice but to use the disk.

Someone with knowledge would have guessed that anyway with my last post.

So if you are using 1.51, 1.6, 1.61 then you are still not safe from the banwave.

Older drives (benq samsung hitachis) have non stealthed firmware. All avail in xbins

Liteons, with being newer are limited to versions stated.
