        The only way to repair the Ring of death is to re flow the disconnected solder joints using an Infrared BGA rework station.
        Heating with an Oven can briefly reconnect the electronic connections but without a full re flow, the problem will reoccur.
        I found the repair centre where you can fix your console for ?40 & they use Infra Red tech. They deal with all consoles, click the link below it's very helpful.

          Andy.....Ive been a Surface Mount Repair Tech/Debugger for about 15 years. About 6 years ago we were reflowing Lead free crap solder using Air-flow with no problems. The faults included Pillared Solder joints, cracked joints and Cold/dry solder joints.....every single board was reflowed with no problem.

          I can understand why you would want people to believe that only your business can reflow lead-free solder using IR, but to tell experts on this site that they are wrong is a bit silly as they have been carrying out reflows without using IR for years now.
