xbox 360 2 red lights and not heating up, help

erm i have taken the x clamp fix back off but i put the x clamps back on and it come up 1 red light.

does anyone no why when i do the x clamp fix it gos back on 2 red light.

i am not gonna send it back but i am gonna get a new 1 wednesday but i still want this fixed.

can you help please mate.

When you put the x clamps back on the error is 1 red light/E74 on screen.Reason for it going to 2 red lights with the x clamp fix kit on is that its over heating striaght away.

Dont use 3 washers as stated above or try heat guns or towels.

Best way i have found is to use 2 M5 washers on the GPU under the heatsink.If yours goes back to 1 red light with the 2 washers on,leave the fan disconnected and wait for it to go to 2 red lights and then turn it off.Wait about 10 mins and reconnect the fan and all should be ok"green lights"

the xbox is now fixed thanks to my dad. he heated it up an now its working thanks for all the help heat gun worked thanks.
