whats latest firmware for 360

just bought a sep 2007 xbox flashed already

but some games latest ones wont play

is there a way to find out what firmware my 360 is using?

yes dump its firmware, if it isnt playing the newer games it needs updating, dumping the fw is part of the process.
you need to find out what drive it has in it,
read the jungleflasher tutorial, MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service it will tell you everything, from how to find out what drive you have to flashing it.

ive read all tuts before jungle flasher ect i can take xbox apart no props get drive out but id be nervous flashing it incase i screwed it up mate

plus i havent got a spare sata connection on pc to do it

You will need the via 6421 pci card then, about ?8 on ebay. If its any other drive other than the hitachi, you cant brick it as long as you have the original dump.

when i connect the drive to pc do i need to leave the dvd in xbox as obviously that powers the drive?

Yes as this powers the drive. On the benq drive when you Into Device you have to power cycle the drive on and off. Then you can read it then spoof the key onto new firmware and thats it done.

Make sure you read the guide properly before trying this as you must get the key from the drive and spoof.

ps ive already got jungle flasher downloaded latest benq firmware and put it in proper folder in jungle flasher got me xbox apart

where do i click the sata into the card as there's 3 sata ports??

also i take it i need to put the drive into mode b before i start anything its the benq drive i havent got the kit so guna have to use the half open drive thing?????
