Ive got a brand new Benq Drive ready to change over. I will be using stock firmware and am only changing cause open tray error.

Do i apply the firmware with the 360 Xbox Hard drive connected or not ?

to get the drive in you will have to remove the hdd anyway, is the drive all read spoofed to go in the 360, with the correct drive key ect

The Xbox case is already off and the new drive plugged in. Its brand new so it needs my Key put onto it ?

Its the 32 digit number i got off my old one i think ? .. hope . So when using JF i leave the box HDD out yes?

if you the original dump from the old drive, just load that into source, target fw into target, flash away as per jungleflasher guide for a benq

i think the other drive FW is messed.. i managed to extract the key tho... Can i just type or copy the key ? i have it as document on my desktop and also KEY.bin file ?

was it a liteon 73 series drive? if so, load the dummy.bin into source, there are other unique codes inside the firmware, tho these can be manually added, ie ident.bin, enquiry.bin. The dummy.bin contains all the info it will need

sorry mate. Bit of a noob. How do i know if its a liteon 73? All i know is that its a Benq and im replacing it with a BenQ...

so do you have the original dump off the drive in a .bin file? or any sort of .bin files? (except the key.bin)

i do have Orig.bin on my desktop but i think i messed it up... Sorry for my lack of understanding.

Checked firmware and its fine, its a benq 1.51 ix fw, if you put a original fw on there you wont be able to play backups, i recomend LT1.1. If the console is not banned, and intended for live, i would flash the orig fw then run any system updates, then goto LT1.1, if stopping offline or banned, goto LT1.1 right away

BenQ LT1.1 here Benq_iXtreme_LT_v1.1.rar download and extract. Load your orig.bin into source. Load IX LT 1.1 into taget, ensuring you spoof to target, proceed to flash.

ok mate. Its all sounding good. Just need you to confirm which Stock FW to use first.. Ive attached it to an Email..

I will apply stock then update then patch to LT 1.1 :-)
