Has the drive already been flashed. Its a liteon 7 series. I suggest you read the JF tutorial mate. I cant talk you through everything. It would be a very long thread.

ur gonna need a ck3 probe mate to extract the key unless its been flashed before

No problem.

Lee if your Liteon already played backups you canny dummy from Ixtreme. This will give you the key etc. Then you need to spoof the data over to the hitachi. Hitachi spoof is different from any other drive as you have to do the data in seperate turns. So i suggest you read JF tutorial over and over until you feel confident that you can do it.

Also the hitachi can bricked.

if so wont bother with it then doesnt seem worth doing all that messing when u can buy a new working 360 now days for 50 quid spent all day on this to cheers for all help lads top blokes

is there a way to fix the open tray error buy a new laser??

are is it the mechanics of the drive thats the fault as i did have it read a disk once so cant see laser being knackred?

Buy new laser. They are are on ebay. Cheap.

yes you can fix your drive using a method called pot tweaking its really qwite simple.
