Pretty disgraceful imo, they must already make a mint from this. No idea if other than the 1 month usub is going up UK at the moment, but since they are in the States would assume so. Obviously looking to make even more money on the back of Kinect.

have you noticed it goes up 3 days before the new dash update and mass bans does this not obviously show there looking to ban 1000's if not a million people off live maybe permanently this time with the new security in place

Not sure Dubz. If they ban the gamertags then people who have been on live for years with same gamertags wont be very happy. Being forced to Buy another 12 months of Live and renew the gamertag. I for one would not go back to them.

Also i think the increase is just because the new Xbox Kinect is coming out at that time. I think they are saying that the price increase is justified by that alone. Also remember we are going to see different types of Live bundles. Bundles in which one person can pay and 4 people can use the account with the main peson being the one who buys from the marketplace.

I see a ban coming. Its obviously going to happen but i cant see them banning specific gamertags forcing people to renew theyre xbox live for the 12months etc.

i didn't mean gamer tags mate but this new dash is supposed to detect drive fw each time you eather switch on console or connect to live every time so alot of people will disappear from live ,i for one wont bother with it if i cant get on with modded drive

Aye supposed to detect. We can only wait and see what happens. Funny that the PS3 has just been modded when it seems like the xbox is going to nail line onpiracy for the time being. A bit coincidental i think.

For the record, i dont think profiles will be banned from xbl, i have only ever seen profiles banned due to modding of them and gamer scores ect, i think only modded boxes. What i am interested in is if they will be banned offline modded boxes with the update.

With all the new games due out, the kinect, i can smell another ban wave but i for 1 am not to bothered at the moment in time.

i agree they maybe able 2 make new fw that's not detectable but if the LT was detectable and that was supposed to be almost unrecognisable then where do they go from here is it the end of pirated online gaming

I think we all know that the bans are permenant, the point i was also making is that its going to be interesting, as speculated, if the offline, modded xboxes get banned, when the update filters onto a disc. I have 2 boxes, 1 flashed with LT that stays offline, 1 untouched box for online play.

I do think tho that, if LT is detectable, and confirmed on virgin boxes, then yes could be end of modding drive firmware but again, they i guess just go over xbl logs to see if detectable. I for 1 dont get much time these days to play on either of my boxes.

If people do get banned, and want to stay on xbox live, then just wait and see if new firmware does come out, but then again, were not at that point yet are we?

Once XBLA left you play any game online, Now Each selected Game will have its own Subscription something like 15 quid a Month, I think the First game with this independant Subscription Charge will be Medal of Honor in November.

Sony & the PS3 are to release a Subscription Service & tolls aswell on the PS3 for the same content, so both Consoles will work like cash registers for these subscription based Games.

Sony's Preimum Service will be required to subscribe to the server your Game is featured on, so there are a few kick in the Balls for both Consoles.

Game Companys see Both Console manufactures making money from Online Play are now cashing in with Monthly Subscriptions to get in on the Cash Machine.

No point Jumping boat for a PS3 as they will be as Bad as Microsoft by this time Next year.
