That is ridiculous. Who is gonna pay these prices. It means that people will be limited to only a few if not 1 game the will play online. How can they justify this and what makes them think that people can afford this.

Thats the Plan, put forward by EA and a few others , XBLA subscription will be like a KEY to online Gaming and then you Subscribe to the Game you Buy to get onto there server.
This will not happen to every Game, but for the Big FPS Shooters and RPGS it will start happening later this year or Early next year.
XBLA subscribers will have limited availability to each Game Server, But you will not be able to play 100% of the Maps-Weapons-New Content or rise through the rankings or gain achievements unless you subscribe to EA or Whoever !
It the way Gaming is Going and they what you to play there games for longer and extract as much Cash out of you in the Process.Comment

I think developers are looking at the massively lucrative market of games like world of warcraft which has about 20million people paying about ?9 a month. Not surprising developers are trying to get on this gravy train.Thats the Plan, put forward by EA and a few others , XBLA subscription will be like a KEY to online Gaming and then you Subscribe to the Game you Buy to get onto there server.

If you look at modern warfare 2, which has sold in excess on 20 million copies, even if only 10% paid for example ?5 a month they would be getting an extra 10 million a month for little extra effort. When you look at the figures it is not surprising they are trying to cash inComment
